The Pasaporto Cruise times are all the times, day and night, that are not the designated Sunset Cruise times. The Sunset Cruise times are the peak cruise times that start as much as one and a half hours before the actual sunset and up to a half an hour after the sunset. It is possible that your cruise could end before sunset or start after the sunset.

There is no one specific time we consider the “best time.” We offer cruises weekdays 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm and weekends noon to 11:00 pm. Most people choose to go in the evening. You should choose a time that works well with other plans you may have for the evening. Choose a time for which you will not be late. The most romantic cruise is after the sun goes down.

Yes. The most romantic cruise times are after the sun goes down. It’s usually calmer and quieter but there is plenty of ambient lighting from homes, boats, and street lights to see where you are going.

Yes. There is a small corkage fee for corkage and/or use of the following: ice buckets, ice, glassware, wine opener.

Yes, however, we recommend finger foods, as utensils are difficult to use on the gondola. We also have assorted chocolates available for purchase.

Gondola cruises depart from 503 Grand Caribe Causeway, Suite C and travel through the canals and waterways of the Coronado Cays. The Coronado Cays is a small community about four miles south of Coronado Village.

Yes. Cruises are private for you and your guests. A gondolier is always on the boat.

Yes. You can propose on any of our cruise packages. There is plenty of room to rotate off the seat onto one knee and pop the question. Standing up is not permitted. If you’d like a cruise with all the bells and whistles and photography of your proposal, you might like our Proposal Package.

Yes. We provide shared lap blankets. We recommend dressing warmly, and if you like, you can also bring your own blanket with you.

Yes. We are open all year except July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and days when the weather does not cooperate.

There is Italian-style music playing on the boat. Traditionally the gondolier does not sing, however, some of the gondoliers may choose to sing a song or two. Song and quality are not guaranteed.

There is no dress code on the gondola. We recommend a light jacket or sweater. High heels are not recommended.

Yes. You must have a drone pilots license and a liability drone insurance policy. Your cruise route will be slightly altered to stay in a designated area. This must be arranged in advance.

Yes, we do allow dogs. However, some dogs just cannot resist getting into the water. You know your dog, if you think you’ll be battling with them to keep them in the boat, then it’s probably not a great idea. If they’re nice and calm, then it should be fine. Note: If your dog goes to the bathroom or vomits on the gondola, or has to be pulled back into the gondola from the water, a $50 fee will be added at the end of the cruise. Most of the time, people have no problems with their dogs and we’re happy to have them on the gondola with you.

For The Pasaporto and The Sunset Cruise, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. You must let us know if you need to cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before your cruise time in order to receive a refund.
For The Proposal Cruise Package, we have a 48-hour cancellation policy. There are no refunds for cancellation within 48 hours of the confirmed reservation date and time. Cancellation of the cruise 48 hours before the date and time confirmed may receive a refund of 50% of the original fee. If you must reschedule your cruise, you must do so 48 hours before the date and time confirmed and pay an additional fee of $100.
For The Caorlina Cruise, we have a 48 hour cancellation policy. You must let us know if you need to cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before your cruise time in order to receive a refund.
For The Mother’s Day Cruise, we have a 48 hour cancellation policy. You must let us know if you need to cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before your cruise time in order to receive a refund.
For The St. Valentino Cruise, there are no cancellations and no refunds.
Late cancellations after the cutoff time and no-shows will not be rescheduled or refunded.
If we must cancel your cruise due to rain or high wind or any other unforeseen operator circumstance, you will receive a full refund or credit.

Please call for weather conditions. It frequently does not rain in Coronado when it is raining in other parts of San Diego. You may still want to go on a cruise. If you want to reschedule, our 24-hour cancellation policy is not in effect. You may reschedule at your convenience.

If you arrive late for your cruise, it will end as previously scheduled so as not to delay the next scheduled cruise. We advise arriving 10 to 15 minutes early.

Yes. Gift Certificates are available for the Pasaporto Cruise, Sunset Cruise, and Caorlina Cruise. You can pick one up at our office, order one over the phone, or purchase a Gift Certificate or eGift Card online.
